BEST INC. announces Scholarship recipients

Two student volunteers from the Hazleton One Community Center were among the class of 2020 BEST, Inc. scholarship recipients. Katherine Abreu, a volunteer at the Hazleton One Community Center and a member of the Community that Cares Student Outreach Committee. She will be attending Penn State University in the fall majoring in Psychology. She is a 2016 graduate of Hazleton Areal Career Center.
 
Nick Chupela, has been a member of the HIP After School Scholars junior staff for the past 2 years. He will be attending Wilkes University majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Nick is a 2016 graduate of Hazleton 
Area Academy of Sciences.
 
The BEST Scholarship Group sponsors and mentors,8-10 new students each year,
