The #RenewalAwards seek to illuminate grassroots solutions to challenges faced by communities around the country in an unsettling economic era. Like the #RenewalProject, the awards are a social-first website and newsroom spotlighting people and organizations advancing social good and contributing to civic innovation across the country.

Please help support #HIP by just clicking on the link, sharing, liking and voting, it won't take more than a couple minutes…#FortheCommunity #FortheKids www.theatlantic.com/renewal-awards/

Several years ago we introduced the Hazleton Integration Project (#HIP) as a catalyst for positive change in our area. We believed that whatever differences exist between the people who now call Hazleton home are far outweighed by the common sense of humanity that binds us together.

Thank You for all your Support!

We had a very successful Holiday Line-Up.

CTC: Together We Can

Our Youth Outreach members: Communities that Care (CTC) created and painted a mural with the guidance of artists Jason Braun.

HIP's Playground Grand Opening!

On Thursday June 15 the Hazleton One Community Center had its Grand opening for the Playground that will serve as a recreational facility for all the children involved in our center. The playground was donated by Hazleton Creek Properties LLC, who also donated a complete MAC Computer lab to our center. Our very own Joe Maddon and Frank DeAndrea received and inagurated the playground. Thank you, Mr. William Rinaldi for your support to our cause and center!
